JUST IN TIME FOR EASTER
Comayagua, Honduras - Easter in Comayagua, a small but deeply religous town near the capital Tegucigalpa. Every year, the Passion of the Christ, including all the sations of the crucifiction are played out by children in a procession. People prepare for a month tapestries of colored sawdust, on which the procession proceeds.
Manolo Ansuategui (2nd R), 33, who played Jesus Christ in a Passion re-enactment, greets Basque premier Juan Jose Ibarretxe following the re-enactment in Balmaseda April 6, 2007. Hundreds of processions take place round-the-clock during Holy Week in Spain, drawing thousands of visitors.
